Terms of Use

Access to and use of The Global Knowledge Worker website is subject to the following terms and conditions. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between Ultimus Content and Products Sales LLP ("Ultimus", "we", "us", "our") and You, governing your use of the Platform under the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (as amended) and relevant rules thereunder, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

These Terms govern your use of www.theglobalknowledgeworker.com ("Site"). "You", "Your", "User" shall mean the user of the Site. We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Site after any amendment constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with using the Site.

1. Access, Charges & Termination

Access is provided on a one-time annual purchase basis. Upon successful payment, the User is granted access to the purchased Product(s) for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase ("Access Period"). This is not a recurring subscription — access does not auto-renew and no charges will be levied automatically upon expiry. To continue accessing Products after expiry, the User must make a fresh purchase.

Some parts of the Site are available free of cost, including a limited free trial of select Products for registered users. To access paid content, you must register and complete the purchase process by providing current, complete, and accurate information.

You are granted one (1) login ID and password for your personal or organizational use. Ultimus does not permit:

• Any other person sharing your account and password
• Any part of the Site being cached in proxy servers and accessed by individuals who have not purchased access
• Access through a single account being made available to multiple users on a network, unless an organizational license has been explicitly purchased

If Ultimus reasonably believes that an account is being misused, it reserves the right to cancel access rights immediately without notice. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account and must notify Ultimus immediately of any unauthorized use.

2. Nature of Content & Third-Party Copyright Disclaimer

Ultimus provides curated content compilations as its core service. Each compilation consists of:

• Original summaries written by the Ultimus team, which are the intellectual property of Ultimus Content and Products Sales LLP
• Links to original source articles published by third-party publishers and websites

Ultimus's summaries are independently created original works intended to help users assess whether a source article is relevant to their needs. These summaries do not reproduce the original articles in full and are not a substitute for reading the original source.

3. User Conduct and Obligations

You agree not to use the Site to:

• Upload or transmit any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or obscene content
• Upload or transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful programs
• Harm minors in any way
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely represent your affiliation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its systems, servers, or networks
• Use data gathering or extraction tools, or create databases by systematically downloading Site content
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content obtained through the Site
• Transmit unsolicited bulk communications of any kind

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise stated, copyright and all intellectual property rights in all original material on the Site — including Ultimus's original summaries, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks — are the property of Ultimus Content and Products Sales LLP and are protected under applicable Indian laws.

You are granted permission to access and make personal or internal organizational use of the Site's content during your Access Period. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or publicly display Ultimus's original content without prior written permission, or create derivative works from Ultimus's original summaries.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ultimus, its affiliates, directors, employees, shareholders, officers, and contractors from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or resulting from your breach of these Terms or your use of the Site.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Ultimus be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Site or its contents. Ultimus's maximum aggregate liability for any and all claims shall not exceed an amount equivalent to the purchase fee paid by you for your current Access Period.

7. Disclaimer

All content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice. The information is provided on an "AS IS" basis without warranties of any kind, expressed or implied.

8. Force Majeure

Ultimus shall be under no liability in the event of non-availability of the Site occasioned by an Act of God, war, disease, revolution, riot, civil commotion, strike, flood, fire, failure of telecommunications systems, man-made disaster, or any other cause beyond the control of Ultimus.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising in relation hereto shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, India.

10. General

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between You and Ultimus with respect to the use of the Site.
